A statement issued Monday afternoon by the Office of the Prime Minister quotes a notice to MPs from the Clerk of the National Assembly: “I am to inform you that an Emergency meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Wednesday 17th September 2014 at 10.00 a.m. at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre," the notice reads.
